Thoughts: The pacing was slow and predictable with an unreliable narrator who drinks herself into incoherency. The Spying on neighbor and sees something wrong trope was expected. It was thoroughly predictable...until it really wasn't. It took way too long with the pacing, but when it shifted into 'go' mode- it was almost jarring in how odd it went. It was a pleasant surprise but without spoiling- there should have been more lead up or clues to support the sudden change. The ending in particular was silly to me (just the last line, but that's important too).
